Yes, i do agree with Patricia Ryan. I do beleive that knowing more languages based on what she said would be very good. I do think it is important to learn diffrent langauges because of all the diffrent origins of people now coming to america with all of their own languages. It could help to understand them, and also even though they speak other languages does not mean their ideas are bad either. Someone could come up with the next big thing but with us not trying to learn other languages we could just miss it. With what Patricia is saying with the other women telling her about how when she was teaching the people to speak english she also learned new words and new ways of making medicines with the plants the people spoke about. So this is why i mainly think it is important to learn new languages based on what Patricia was saying.

David's First Blog Entry

What i gope to do this semester is pass all my classes so that i can move on to do better things.

My current thoughts about blogging is that it is a new thing to me, I have never done it before so i guess a new learning experience as well. I think it can be a useful tool by having it where the teacher can learn more about the person to understand how to help them.

There is really nothing else I'd like the teacher to know. She knows everything already =D
